Crystal Springs 13

Thirteen is our Third Anniversary beer. Each year we will produce a diffrent style for our anniversary, but it will always be called “13.” Why? Well this is the first time we have offered a special beer for our anniversary, but it is actually our third anniversary – our first third anniversary. We’ll give you a different reason for calling it 13 next year. This year’s version is an India Pale Ale using a very unique combination of hops in stunning proportions. Be sure to check out the aroma before you take that first sip. Each year we will offer something different – something that strikes our fancy. My son’s good friend, Joe, was the inspiration for this year’s anniversary beer. Joe used a very interesting hop, Nelson Sauvin, to make a beer recently. I got to try it on my last trip to California. One sniff and I was hooked – this year’s anniversary beer is a salute to Nelson Sauvin and to Joe. Thanks Joe!
