Beer Description
Sour blonde ale aged in white wine barrels for over a year with a variety of different strains of Brett yeast and lactic acid bacteria.
Wooden Soul #2: Invisible Piper is a Sour Blonde Ale aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels, sourced from the Ferrari-Carano vineyards of Northern California. The second generation is a blend of 25 different barrels. Fermented with 4+ strains of Brettanomyces yeast and several strains of Lactic Acid Bacteria. Hazy and straw-colored, this beer has complex aromas of lemon, pineapple, fruit and cream, barn dust. Refreshingly tart, Wooden Soul #2 is light and effervescent, with notes of sparkling lemonade, granny smith apples, and dry white wine.
