American barleywine brewed with 75 cinnamon sticks, 5 pounds of crystallized ginger, close to 2 pounds of coriander along with handfuls of allspice and nutmeg.
American Barleywine style ale brewed with copious amounts of spices. 75 cinnamon sticks, 5 pounds of crystallized ginger, close to 2 pounds of coriander along with handfuls of allspice and nutmeg. Bitter and sweet orange peel was added to give this ale a special flavor note. Of course a beer called Holiday Spicewood has wood in it. 5 pounds of toasted oak provides the wood component to what is a very special holiday beer.
