Beer Description
For those less familiar with rye, the flavor that best characterizes rye in a beer is “spicey.”
Our Riot Act Rye Ale was designed to be a showcase for rye malt. Therefore it is a more malt driven beer than several of our other offerings. But, just because the beer is malt driven does not mean it is without generous amounts of hops. The Riot Act Rye Ale includes 11 hop additions, including two massive dry-hop additions. The hops, however, were used more for flavor and aroma as oppossed to bitterness. So for all you hop-heads, there are plenty of hops in this one.
