Beer Description
In the early 1950’s, the most famous of the Prairie School architects Frank Lloyd Wright, was searching for inspiration. Instead of the horizontal Midwestern lines of nature he normally drew from, he took an ocean voyage to the then US territory of Hawaii. There he was so taken with the beauty of the island that he began to incorporate designs of pineapples and tropical shapes into his work. Some of his closest confidants even whispered that he considered changing his first name to “Dank” in honor of the exotic foods and aromas he encountered on his journey. Dank Lloyd Wright: Pineapple Express honors this trailblazing architect and sheds light on a lesser known chapter of his career with a hazy pineapple IPA brewed with 100% Sultana hops and real pineapple juice.
