New Holland Brewing Co. has collaborated with Dirty Water Beer on its inaugural batch of beer to raise money for Water.org (a non-profit co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White) with a lofty, but important goal – to ensure that everyone in the world can take a safe drink of water. Dirty Water Beer is a start-up that stemmed from Hope College graduate, Travis Rooke’s Start Garden submission in 2012. The premise is simple. Collaborate with breweries and distributors to create specialty beers and donate funds to support Water.org. The bottom line? Every keg of Dirty Water Beer sold equals clean water for one person – for life.
