Beer Description
Hurricane Charley is a DIPA hopped with El Dorado and Simcoe hops. Hurricane Charley is the first in a new series of Ono beers that reflect back on the four hurricanes that hit Florida in 2004. Hurricane Charley, a Category 4 hurricane, was the first of the four and at that time was the strongest hurricane to hit the US since Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Scott and Cyndi, owners of Ono Brewing, lived in Florida in 2004 and look back at 2004 as the year they “hunkered down” and rode out all four hurricanes.
