Beer Description
This started out as a brewer’s pipe dream. Our head brewer Marcus literally snuck in early to brew this one on our pilot system for his kegerator at home. The rest of the brewers got their hands on a few pints and started clamoring to get this beer canned. After months of pressure, we caved. Give the smoke a shot… it really is Really Good.
The recipe takes inspiration from the subtle smoke of Schlenkerla Helles and from the classic Polish grodziski—the use of oak-smoked wheat malt provides an inviting, gentle and sweet-smelling aroma that’s enticing, not overpowering.
