Confluence Wild Influence Wild Beer Dry Hopped W/ Hallertau

Brettanomyces can be quite a fickle yeast, often leading to unpredictable results and “Wild” beers. Case in point, two and a half years ago we brewed our first beer using primary fermentation by Brettanomyces with our friends at Insight Brewing. But the beer–aptly named “Influence”–failed to turn out as we had hoped. Curious, we stowed a portion of the batch in rum barrels that had previously conditioned a beer with a completely different strain of Brett. For the past two years, those two separate strains have been working away, transforming our experiment into a one-of-a-kind beauty vastly different from the original. With its notes of tropical fruit and a hint of sweet vanilla from the rum barrels, we hope you enjoy the light tartness and
