Port Jeff + Foothills Carolina Common

It’s too hot to sleep, so… Tomorrow is the official release of Carolina Common, our special collaboration with M. David Gonzalez of Foothills Brewing! ONLY ONE BATCH. Carolina Common :: 5.6% ABV Carolina Common is our collaboration with M. David Gonzalez, brewer at North Carolina’s Foothill Brewing. Gonzalez briefly apprenticed at James Bay Brewery, which operated in Port Jefferson from 1994-1998, so Carolina Common was conceived to unite our town’s past and present beer-makers. After sharing local anecdotes, laughs, and our respective beers, we brewed a California Common with a special variety of peaches from North Carolina. A subtle presence of peach-sweet balances the earthy bitterness, creating a refreshingly crisp beer with a southeastern twist. Cheers!
