Beer Description
Pours dark brown with off-white head. Aroma is complex with intertwining notes of chocolate and coffee-like roast, caramel and toffee along with some fruity yeast esters. Flavor is more of the same with layers of roast and caramel with the dark crystal malts contributing raisin and prune-like flavors. Finishes with a nice balance that leaves the beer tasting dry and not overly sweet despite the generous dose of sweet crystal malts.
