When we brewed the Oatmeal Cookie Stout for our 6th Anniversary, endless possibilities for variants came to mind. What better way to go about it than barrel aging it for our 7th Anniversary! This variant started with a mound of plump, juicy raisins and a combination of Caribbean Rum and Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels. After a year of maturation, the resulting beer is a bit of a riff on the classic Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. Notes of sweet sugarcane and rich maple mingle with the base beer and the bright raisin highlights to produce a truly decadent treat that is perfect for toasting to the success you all have made possible.
