Beer Description
A Belgian ale aged on oak chips with coconut & peaches and it was created by Dirk Naudts of De Proef & Wayne Wambles of Cigar City. Tropical Tripel was brewed at DeProef using Trappist yeast as well as Brux III Brettanomyces after an infusion of Mangum & Simcoe hops in the boil. To add the fun, Belgian Candi Sugar and lactose were added and the beer is finished with toasted coconut, dried peaches and medium toasted oak.
