Beer Description
We made this beer with a combination of American and British malts. Admiral Maltings Gallagher’s Best local California malt provides the backbone with Bairds crystal malts adding to the malty flavor and aroma, reminiscent of caramelized french toast. We hopped the beer with Cluster and Centennial. Cluster adds a firm bitterness and light floral aroma and Centennial adds pine and citrus flavor and aroma. We finished it off with a generous addition of Centennial dry hops.
Johnny Cash set the stage as we were brewing we tried to imagine a beer that The Man in Black would drink during a show. Cheers to the late great Johnny Cash
