Beer Description
Source of Light was brewed with 100% premium German malts and hopped several times in the kettle with one of our favorite New Zealand hop varietals – the bright and zesty, citrus-forward Motueka.
We then hopped this crushable lager again with more aromatic Motueka hops in the fermenter before transferring it to horizontal lagering tank for a long, cold-conditioning slumber.
The result is a brilliantly golden, light-bodied brew with smooth bitterness, hop-dominated aromas and flavors, and a clean, dry, crisp finish that makes it hard to put down.
We get notes of key lime zest, fresh herb garden, white crackers, wildflower honey, and fragrant lemongrass.
