Ale brewed with yarrow. Fermented with mixed culture and aged in wine barrels.
Volume 20, Transformation Masks, represents the arc of my thought and experience of working with yarrow. In this release, we explore the lovely depth this herb has to offer in a dark base beer; great rounded malt tones with spicy, herbal qualities. The effect reminds me of a British ginger cake. This mixed fermentation ale was aged in wine barrels until beautiful and then packaged. I hope you enjoy, it’s a fun little beer!
