Beer Description

Our first bottom-fermented beer! It is born out of a collaboration with one of the great masters of the style, emblematic of Germany and Czech Republic: our friend Eric Toft, brewmaster at Schönram brewery in Bavaria. We have drawn our inspiration from the Pilsners of Northern Germany, which are traditionally more bitter than those of the South, which are more malty.
Wadesda Lager is brewed with the traditional technique of decoction and is not filtered — thus slightly hazy. Decoction gives depth to its malty character, which results in a very pleasant body. Its assertive bitterness is far from the taste of the “pils” that we are used to drink in Belgium nowadays. Moreover, it is generously hopped with the most noble German hops.
