This is the first in our line of Brett Lagers, and we couldn’t be more excited! Lightly kilned base malt makes up the foundation for this Brett Pilsner-Style Lager. We generously hopped this in the kettle using the German noble hop Hallertau Mittlelfruh and fermented with our House Lager Yeast. We briefly lagered the beer, and then sent it over to our wild fermenters to get inoculated with Brettanomyces Drei. After re-fermenting for a short amount of time, this beer came out with a hint of funky fruitiness on the nose and finishes clean and dry on the palate. Notes of biscuit, wildflower honey, cedar, pink peppercorn, and goldenberry.
