Around here in Virginia, there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy a beer with a view. Whether you’ve got a cooler by the campfire or or packing a few cans in your day pack to enjoy post hike, this variety pack offers a delicious sampler experience on the go.
VIENNA LAGER (5.2%)
This is our Ol’ Faithful. No, it’s not a geothermal phenomenon. It’s the beer everybody, including professional beer judges, just seems to dig. Maybe they like how it’s smooth, medium-bodied, and semi-sweet, while not too heavy or bitter. Maybe it’s the amber color, or the blend of four imported malts balanced by two Germanic hops, or the fact that it takes five weeks to get right. Or maybe it’s all the above.
Malts: Vienna, Pilsner, Dark Munich, CaraAmber
Hops: Northern Brewer, Saaz
GOLD LEAF LAGER (4.5%)
While Gold Leaf is on the lighter side, it takes five weeks to perfect this traditional German-style lager. An homage to the days when beers were made 100% from malted barley, Gold Leaf is brewed with four European malts tempered with a touch of three imported hops. Plus, it’s got subtle bready notes. And since it’s not super hoppy or dark, this beer doesn’t hide any flavor inconsistencies. That just keeps us honest.
Malts: Pilsner, Weyermann Pilsner, Vienna, Acidulated Malt
Hops: Northern Brewer, Saaz, Tettnang
JUICY MAGIC EYE-PA (7%)
We’re bringing out all the hoppy goodness for this new year-round low bitterness juice-bomb of an IPA. Featured hops included Mosaic, Citra, Hallertau Blanc, and Simcoe, and we bring the juice by adding natural apple, tangerine, mango, and pineapple juices. And the art and name on the packaging is inspired by 90’s Magic-Eye prints, so consumers can zone out and take it slow by Nature as the scene shifts to 3D. Juicy Magic Eye-PA…get it?
Malts: Pilsner, Golden Naked Oats, Carahell, Acidulated Malt, Carafa Special 2
Hops: Simcoe, Hallertau Blanc, Citra, Mosaic
