Beer Description

Using common ingredients on the basis of archaeological finds every brewery has chosen a different method of fermentation.

Inspired by ancient fermentation process; tart yet sweet on the lips. Leo, Teo and Sam went to research the origin of the beer, creating a bold recipe inspired by the ancient fermented beverages. A Borgorose, the Etruscan, we made it to rest in large earthenware jars, such as those found in the ancient Etruscan sites

Using ingredients found on archeological sites (different cereals, hazelnuts, raisins, pomegranate, resins, honey), this project is supervised by Patrick McGovern (university of Pennsylvania).
At Del Borgo the beer is fermenting in clay amphorae.
