De Brabandere/Dubuisson Alliance Collaboration Gift Pack

ALLIANCE is a historic collaboration between the Flemish Brewery De Brabandere and the Wallonian Dubuisson Brewery.
This package celebrates landmark anniversaries (125th and 250th respectively), and the accumulation of 375 years of brewing experience. De Brabandere, famous for their foeder-aged sours and Dubuisson for their barrel-aged strong ales, are a perfect fit. Petrus Quadruple was aged at the Wallonian brewery in Burgundy Wine Barrels from Nuits-St-Georges for 6 months and Bush Caractère (Scaldis) was blended with Petrus Aged Pale in Bavikhove, Flanders.

1.ALLIANCE Barrel Aged by Dubuisson is the result of a unique cooperation between a Flemish and Walloon family brewery. For the occasion, a Petrus Quadrupel matured for 6 months on small barrels that had previously contained a prestigious Burgundy wine by Nuits-St.-Georges. This surprising process gives the beer a complex wine taste with hints of red fruit and chocolate.

2.Part of a collaboration gift box between Flemish Brewery De Brabandere and Walloon Brewery Dubuisson to celebrate 375 years of mutual brewing history, this Belgian Strong Golden Age brewed at Dubuisson was foeder aged by De Brabandere. This means that a 2 year old sour beer was added to enhance the complexity of this beer. This gives the beer a pleasant yellow fruit aroma, with a slight caramel taste and a wonderful light sour taste.
