Beer Description
Our first lager collaboration with the wonderful folks at @threesbrewing. While this style of beer is typically made with cheaper 6-row malts and flaked products, we decided to highlight some amazing producers while still creating something immensely drinkable. We utilized our German style step mash on a base of floor malted Germantown Pilsner from @hudsonvalleymalt and @thrallfamilymalt flaked corn. During the first rise we added @ansonmills Carolina Gold rice that we first cereal mashed for maximum sugar and flavor extraction. In the kettle we hopped this lightly with Michigan grown Crystal for a distinctly American character. The result is one of our driest and thirst quenching lagers yet! 4.9% ABV.
