Beer Description
Citra is my Vice is a beer that John and I have been playing around with for the last couple of years as homebrewers, but are excited to scale it up and offer it commercially. In addition to Pale 2 Row malt, we also used heaping amounts of flaked oats and white wheat. In addition, we fermented it out with an expressive yeast to help compliment and bring out the awesome melange of flavors from Citra. We used multiple lots of Citra along with Citra Lupomax, a concentrated form of the hop produced by John I. Haas, that reduces vegetative matter and gives a more intense hop flavor without the grassy, astringent flavors. One other thing we enjoy about Citra is how it changes based on the abv of the beer. At a lower ABV, it gives off more citrus
