Beer Description
Over a year ago, the guys at CBX worked on a couple of collaboration beers with Westbrook. One of the beers, Citrus Ninja Exchange, was an immediate release and has since been brewed again. The other, a strong, dark, sour monster, was tucked away in barrels with wild yeasts and bacteria. That beer, dubbed “Old Time” after everyone’s favorite store manager, Brandon Plyler, is now seeing the light of day. A variety of barrels were used for aging, so you’ll see a handful of versions released, each with a different name. Grumpy Old Time spent the last year in Laird’s Apple Brandy barrels getting sour.
