Beer Description
We were thrilled to finally be able to score some Nelson!! So, we went big on the Nelson with about 2/3rds of the dry hop. The remaining 3rd of the dry hop saw equal parts Motueka and Citra. The beer is juicy and expressive. Ripe mango, pineapple, and melon dominate with secondary flavors of lime, kiwi, and passionfruit. We hit it with some WLP001 yeast as the beer was nearing the end of fermentation. This helped dry it out a touch more to bring more drinkability to the big 8.7% abv.
