Beer Description

Happy holidays from the Bronx! Under “normal” circumstances, the holidays are a time for family, food, festivities, and (in the BX) Coquito. If you don’t know… Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican drink which translates to “Little Coconut,” and is typically chock full of coconut, cinnamon, vanilla, and rum. It’s a festive family favorite, akin to eggnog and whisky.

Thick, creamy, chocolatey, dark roast coffee notes at the forefront, meld into a complex coconut-y sweet malty backbone and finish with aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, and a dash of rum to warm up the tongue (and tummy) on these upcoming cold nights. We used copious amounts of toasted coconut, Ceylon cinnamon, Tahitian vanilla, and Puerto Rican rum to put together this holiday classic. So, take a seat at the fire, let the beer warm up in your hands and release all of its subtle Coquito notes. Brewed in collaboration with the Bronx Beer Hall
