Waking up before the rooster crows isn’t the easiest of tasks, but it doesn’t come without its rewards… for on the horizon to the east sits a blazing ball of fire just itching to light up the sky, scaring away the night’s moon and wishing a very welcomed “good morning to you.” Though this exchange of pleasantries isn’t one experienced by many, one that is all too familiar with this day’s ritual is… the brewer. Sure, working at a brewery has its perks, but only few are in charge of creating the liquid gold we call the “West Coast IPA.” And in honor of these foremen of the fermenters, this ode to the first brew finds Denali hops waiting to give you the punch to the face you need to get the day started.
