Beer Description

We’re thrilled to announce the first bottle release from our mixed fermentation barrel program.⁠
Salt The Earth is a rustic ale fermented and aged in oak vessels, conditioned on sea salt, lemons, and wild fennel from California. This West Town Bier is inspired by the cuisines of California and Italy. Salt The Earth uses minerals, fruit, and herbs from the land and sea that surround us, for an experience that feels like a familiar but distant memory. It’s 5.4% ABV, mildly sour, dry, funky, and refreshing as hell. Salt The Earth is named for the ruthless act carried out by Roman general Scipio Aemilianus after the fall of Carthage.⁠
