Beer Description

Franconian-style Landbier traditionally brewed in northern Bavaria to create a balanced, highly quaffable brew with a deep auburn color and dense, off-white head of foam. Spicy German Noble hops fall in harmony with toasted bread, almond & toffee notes

A dark lager brewed in collaboration with the fine folks at Burial Beer out of Asheville, North Carolina. Forged from a common bond over all things lager, we took inspiration from the Franconian-style Landbier traditionally brewed in the northern portion of Bavaria to create a balanced, highly quaffable brew with a deep auburn color and dense, off-white head of foam. The use of floral, spicy German Noble hops fall in harmony with toasted bread, almond and toffee notes derived from a blend of Weyermann Pilsner and Munich malts. It finishes fairly dry for an extremely high drinkability. Pour this one in a dimple stein if you have one.
