Beer Description
A special version of the brewery’s Old Chub Scotch Ale. Christmas Chub, created by head brewer Tuttle, was made with orange zest and spruce tips gathered from trees on the Oskar Blues farm in Longmont, Colo. Tuttle said his staff poured 100 pounds of spruce needles into the whirlpool following the boil – for a 100-barrel batch! The result is a brew brimming with pine and citrus notes, and many Oskar Blues employees who tasted the beer at the company’s internal holiday party on Wednesday were raving about the seasonal brew.
