For our second collaboration with Kyle from Horus Aged Ales, we put our spin on his renowned coffee and hazelnut imperial stout, Goshawk’s Grasp. Featuring a nine-hour boil and treated with a ridiculous amount of chopped hazelnut and Geisha coffee, we’re proud to offer an intensely rich beer built for holiday celebration.
Pouring a deep brown color with a caramel-tinged head, Northern Goshawk wastes no time in displaying its profoundly nutty aroma. Notes of milk chocolate-covered hazelnuts, freshly roasted coffee, molasses, and brown sugar are immediately present. A full mouthfeel with a satisfying sweetness is balanced by an underlying roast presence and touch of alcohol warmth, leaving each sip of Northern Goshawk supremely satisfying.
