Beer Description

Mixed Culture Foeder Saison brewed with NY-State Pilsner Malt, Rye, Wheat, Spelt, and Oats, aged on Black Cherry Puree.

We fermented this beer in one of our American Oak Foeders with our house mixed culture and let it rest in oak for almost 4 months. Then we transferred it into a stainless fermenter holding several hundred pounds of black cherry puree, and gave the beer another month in stainless to re-ferment on the cherries.

We’re tasting plenty of dark fruit on this: blackberry, black cherry, underripe blueberry, funky plums, and blue raspberry warheads with the sour powder licked off.
