Beer Description
Our newest Double IPA is built on a base of Golden Promise, Oat Malt and Flaked Oats, with heavy-handed support from Idaho 7, Rakau and Talus.
Talus, formerly known as HBC 692 (first used in our Minimum series) became a fast favorite around the brewery. This newly named varietal oozes bright and zippy tropical flavors, with backing notes of strawberry, grapefruit, melon, and a very restrained amount of piney, oily dankness.
Pair it up with copious amounts of Rakau and Idaho 7, and now you’re swimming in a hazy, resinous pool of crushed pineapple, strawberry lemonade and pink grapefruit
