It’s a Robust Porter brewed with Pecans.
That’s right, the first seasonal offering (of many to come ) from Quest Brewing Company was brewed this week. Look for this beer to be released sometime in late October – We can’t release it until there’s at least a hint of cool weather in the air! This nearly black Porter is made with US 2-row and Crystal malts along with Baird’s Chocolate and Black malts. Mild smooth hop bitterness is contrasted with sharp black malt bitterness. It has a full body and malty sweetness balanced with subtle pecan aroma and flavor from locally grown pecans. Yet another true Austin original!
