Beer Description
Our kettle-soured blackberry ale is all about the fruit, highlighting the aroma and flavor of the berry while offering a balance with a restrained tartness from our house blend of souring microflora. Pours an opaque, deep purple with a pink head. Aroma is of fresh blackberries, with a light vinous note. Blackberry explodes across the palate on the first sip, followed by a restrained sour note that gives balance to the fruit, keeping it from becoming too sweet. Finishes somewhat dry, inviting another sip. A great aperitif, or even better with our flourless chocolate cake!
