Beer Description
Wheat Pilsner brewed with Weyermann Floor Malted Pilsner and Weyermann Pale Wheat Malt, hopped with Zuper Saaz, Petit Blanc, and Hallertau Blanc.
We wanted to put a slightly different spin on the traditional Pilsner with this recipe, so we took a 60/40 Pilsner/Wheat grist, hopped it with some gorgeous floral, subtly fruity hops, and fermented it low and slow in stainless with one of our favorite lager yeast strains. The resulting beer is a dry, lusciously doughy beer with a firm citrusy bitterness. A perfect summer crusher with just enough malt character to make things interesting.
Weโre tasting lime zest, grapefruit pith, pear skin, subtly spicy/peppery hay, and a medium rare English muffin slathered in orange marmalade.
