Beer Description

“The Dark Side of Hope” is a Hazy DDH IPA brewed with our buds Charles Town Fermentory, which also happens to be Ben Silvestro ‘s former employer! We figured the fine establishment that forged our coveted Benny Boi was long overdue for a collab, so we let Ben and Adam run with this one. They wanted to go with a soft, fluffy body and a hopeless fistful of hops, and that’s just what we got!

Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row and a blend of White Wheat, Flaked Wheat, and Torrified Wheat for that well-rounded and Wheaty character we all know and love. We hit it in the Whirlpool with Citra, fermented it with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped it with MORE Citra, and then dry-hopped it a second time with Azacca and Vic Secret, and topped it off with a little extra Mosaic Cryo for good measure.

We experience fresh OJ Mimosas garnished with a sugared Lime wedge, tropical breezes of Mango and Papaya, and a very firm (but somehow also soft) hit of dank on the backend. Very righteous, indeed.
