Anna (1902-1993) was Edward’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. We selected a few wine barrels of her namesake beer—aged just over six months—and conditioned them further on a blend of dessert pears and Siberian pears from Elmore Roots Nursery in nearby Elmore, Vt. It is a delicate, expressive representation of Vermont’s summer and annual autumn harvest.
