Hold up, heyyyy for those of you who have been waiting on a new coffee beer from us. We bring to you, Next Episode. Back when we created our Lock 44 coffee blend with River Bottom Roasters, we designed with the mindset of making it not only be a delicious morning cup of coffee, but also as a blend that could be utilized in multiple different beer styles. For this approach, we took a cream ale base, added lactose, then dosed it with heavy amounts of our RBR Lock 44 coffee blend. While drinking this beer you’ll find tasting notes reminiscent of a French Vanilla Latte, with a nice drinkability thanks to the cream ale base.
