Sauvignon Blanc grapes and Nelson Sauvin hops are not known for their soft character; they cut like broken glass. They are wild and unbroken…describable with the only fruit nobody has ever actually eaten before, the elusive gooseberry. This collaboration was an attempt to introduce two wild stallions without unlocking chaos. With flaked oats and El Dorado to soften their rougher edges, we stranded them in the same stable and ran for the hills…
