IPA brewed with Cucumber and Lime
This IPA showcases a strain of Torulaspora delbrueckii, which was caught off of an apple tree on an island in Norway.
Del Fresk is statistically very dry, however, T. delbrueckii significantly amplifies mouthfeel. So it is a very sessionable IPA without having to sacrifice body and mouthfeel.
This specific strain also adds flavors and aromas reminiscent of oak, vanilla, hints of coconut, and white grapes. To add some complexity and a subtle cocktail vibe to it, we also added cucumbers, limes, and lime zest.
Naturally, we dry hopped it generously with Motueka and Citra to round out all the flavors!
