Beer Description

The Mutton Hill Hefe reflects the Bavarian style standard with flavors of banana and clove. The balance of wheat and barley provide a smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a surprisingly crisp finish.

General Simon Perkins was one of the founders of Akron in 1825. He built a large stone mansion on a hill on the west side of Akron overlooking the 1,298 acres of land that he purchased which we would later recognize as Downtown Akron. The mansion and the land that surrounded became known for the over 1500 sheep that were raised on the property and affectionately called Mutton Hill.
