Beer Description
This English-Style Extra Special Bitter is true to form; the sweet malt flavors are balanced by a slight bitterness from the hops. We get candied tart raspberries on the nose and notes of toffee and sweet English biscuits on the tongue.
The recipe for this beer came from Kurt, one of Artisanal’s owners. This was one of the first beer styles that he made as a homebrewer. Brewed again and again in his formative brewing years, this beer taught him the fundamentals of how to brew and for that reason it will always be a beloved beer style for him.
