Beer Description
This is the brew-off winning recipe from the West Sixth Brew-off that was brewed by the Evan Brill. We scaled this up and brewed it on our 15 bbl system in collaboration with Evan. German Pils is essentially a dry hopped German Pils. This Pils is brewed with Magnum, Hallertau and Saphir hops, then dry hopped with Saphir. Saphr is a newer German hop developed in 2002 and provides spicy German Noble hop-like aromatics along with notes of citrus and tangerine.
