Beer Description
Triplicity was brewed with the number 3 in mind – a triple strength IPA dry hopped three separate times with three hop varietals to celebrate our three year anniversary ?!
We brewed this one with a blend of pale Maris Otter barley malt and mouthfeel enhancing wheat and oat malts for a super mellow, medium-bodied drinking experience.
Triplicity pours a hazy, light yellow-orange hue into a glass and plumes with aromas of intensely fruity hops.
We hopped this triple IPA with @crosbyhops Strata CGX in the whirlpool, then dry hopped it twice during active fermentation with Strata, El Dorado, and Motueka, and again for a third time post fermentation with more El Dorado and Motueka.
The result is an insanely hoppy beer brimming with juicy fruit flavors that drinks with a soft body, very low bitterness, and a juicy finish.
We get notes of soft ripened cantaloupe melon, sweet tropical fruits, Key lime, passionfruit smoothie, watermelon candies, and juicy tangerine.
