Beer Description
Golden Krispy is a smooth, easy-drinking, lager-like ale that showcases delicate flavor balance between malt, fruitiness, bitterness, and hops, with a clean, well-attenuated finish.
It was brewed with a base of pilsner and Munich malts, hopped lightly for balancing bitterness with Warrior and Hallertau Mittelfrüh, then fermented cool with a kölsch yeast strain.
Golden Krispy pours a brilliant, light gold color into a glass and develops an appetizing crown of tasty white foam.
This go-to, light-medium bodied brew drinks smoothly, opening with a suggestion of gentle malt sweetness that is quickly met and balanced by the hops before transitioning to a crisp, effervescent finish.
We get notes of local bakery, sweet grains, delicate green pear, fresh linens, German bierkeller, and spicy/ floral/ herbal hops.
