The name for this brew was inspired by legendary American rapper and record producer, Coolio. We just got word that Coolio (Artis Leon Ivey Jr.) passed away last night. This news saddens us and we are keeping his family and friends in our hearts and prayers. Rest In Peace @Coolio , this beer is for you ??.

Phantastic Voyage is an Imperial IPA brewed for the connoisseurs of lupulin – the heady trendsetters on a noble, gustatory quest to experience all things novel and exciting along the frontier of the hop world, because, as Coolio put it, “you can’t have the hop of you don’t have the hip.”

This hazy, yellow-orange brew features an experimental trial hop blend recently developed by @yakimachief & @phantasm.nz. EXP-303 Trial Blend is a cryo hop pellet comprised of Citra, Simcoe, & Mosaic hops along with thiol-rich Phantasm powder derived from Sauvignon Blanc grape skins.

Phantastic Voyage was dry hopped twice during active fermentation with this potent blend of synergistic cryo hops and phantasm powder.

You can expect a plume of intense, fruit-forward hop aromas followed by a mellow, medium body, and a juicy, hop flavored finish sure to hit your switches and have you “slide, slide slippity-sliding” in for that next sip.
