Source Mega Hoppiness

For this very special brew we took the recipe for our beloved, go-to, hazy IPA, Source of Hoppiness, and scaled it up to imperial strength.

In addition to the hops Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7, Mega Hoppiness was also brewed with Cryo Citra, Cryo Mosaic, and Idaho 7 CGX. These mega concentrated pellets contain even more aromatic essential oils and help to drive the aroma and flavor intensities of this heady brew to the next level.

Mega Hoppiness pours a beautiful, light yellow-orange hue into a glass and gives off some seriously appetizing aromas of fresh tropical and citrus fruits, ripe melon, and juicy stone fruits.

Restrained bitterness and a large proportion of flaked oats and malted wheat in the mash give this gentle giant of a beer a soft, mellow mouthfeel.

Late kettle and whirlpool hop additions followed a double-dose of dry-hopping saturate this tasty brew with wonderful fruity hop aromas and flavors that carry through to a juicy finish that is sure to make you hoppy.

We get notes of tropical mango, zumo de naranja, juicy papaya chunks, soft ripened melon, apricot, peach cup, geraniums, and a gentle kiss of fresh, sweet, pine.
