Beer Description

The Lubelski hops are named after the town of Lublin in Western Poland, which most of the hop’s acreage is situated around. Polish Lubelski’s noble aroma is close to that of to Czech Saaz but with a more intense flavour and aroma due to it’s higher oil content, with distinct herbal notes of lemon zest, bergamot and a pinch of cinnamon. Used in Poland mainly as and aroma hop for decades. Our Polish Pils was brewed with pilsner malt grown in the Haná valley of the Czech Republic, double decocted for superior drinkability. Hopped entirely with Polish Lubelski, and lagered in oak barrels. The finished beer exhibits a light bready notes of obwarzanki, floral hoppy notes of poppies, meyer lemon zest, and bergamot.
