Beer Description
It’s named after a character in the Brothers Grimm dark fairy tale “The Juniper Tree”. I harvested some juniper from a plant on our River Road property and cut back the old growth on my sage bush at home and added them to the rye base of this brew along with some heritage hops from NY, then ran a mixed fermentation of Saison and ale yeast. The result is a golden colored refresher with perfumy notes of juniper, herbs and pepper.
